What used to take weeks (even months!) can now happen in a single afternoon. I’ve been in this industry long enough to remember what it was like before Canva had AI, before ChatGPT existed, before every business owner I knew started asking me,
“Should I just have AI do this instead?”
Let’s be clear: I’m not anti-AI.
I use it. I teach it. I even built my own tool with it. (Hey, LUMI!👋)
But as a brand strategist and someone who’s spent years helping women step into their zone of genius, I’ve watched the shift to AI happen firsthand.
Some entrepreneurs are rising, while others are fading. The difference? Knowing how to lead with strategy. These are the four ways AI is reshaping brand strategy — and how to stay ahead of it.
A few weeks ago, a client grinned at me on a Zoom call and said:
“I used ChatGPT to write my entire website in one night!”
I cheered her momentum… and then asked,
“Cool — but does it sound like you… or like every other coach online?”
Sure, AI can crank out content fast. But if it’s bland, vague, or sounds like a copy-paste job, it’s not growing your brand — it’s making you blend in.
Back in the day (okay, 2016), building a brand meant long discovery calls, messy whiteboard sessions, and a lot of wordsmithing over cold coffee. Now? People expect to slap a few prompts into AI and have instant clarity.
But authenticity doesn’t come from convenience — it comes from intention.
What this means for you:
Use AI to move faster, but lead with strategy, not shortcuts. If you’re just copying and pasting, your brand will start sounding like every other voice in the void. And trust me — your dream clients can tell.
Remember when adding someone’s name to an email felt fancy?
Now, AI can track how long someone hovered over your services page and serve up custom copy to reel them back in. I had a client use an AI tool to recommend products based on how long someone lingered on her homepage. Super slick, right?
But slick doesn’t always mean successful.
One of her highest-converting emails wasn’t the polished automated one. It was a raw, heartfelt message she composed herself after a tough week. Just her, talking like a human.
Why did it work? Because it was real. It connected.
Your audience doesn’t just want personal. They want purposeful.
What this means for you:
AI can help you tailor the how, but YOU have to own the what. Connection beats curated perfection every time. So keep the tools, but ditch the performative polish!
Everyone and their mom is launching a brand overnight.

It all looks pretty good… until you try to figure out what they actually do.
I met someone at a networking event who introduced herself with:
“I empower visionary leaders to align with their fullest potential.”
Cool. But… what do you do?
We are drowning in beige brands that say a whole lot of nothing!
What this means for you:
Clarity is your edge! If you can clearly say who you serve, what problem you solve, and why it matters — you’ll stand out every time. So drop the fluffy one-liners. Own your bold POV. Say the thing your dream clients are dying to hear.
Sure, AI can design a brand identity in minutes.
Type in “bold, feminine, modern,” and boom — colors, fonts, logos, done.
But I’ll let you in on a secret: a pretty brand isn’t the same as a powerful one.
Last year, a client came to me with a gorgeous brand suite. She had all the right aesthetics… the chic fonts, the perfect Instagram feed… but nobody was buying.
Why?
Because she had no message. No voice. No hook. No reason for people to care.
Branding without story is like makeup without skincare — it might look polished, but it won’t last.
What this means for you:
AI can design. AI can write. But it can’t tell your story and make people feel something. That’s your job.
Lead with your lived experience, your values, and the messy, human, behind-the-scenes stuff. That’s your superpower!
We don’t panic. We lead.
We use the tech — but we guide it with strategy. We move fast — but with clarity and conviction.
We build brands that blend data and storytelling, efficiency and emotion.
And if you’re still staring at a blinking cursor wondering how to say what you do in a way that makes people actually care?
LUMI is smart. It’s strategic. It speaks fluent CEO. And it’ll have you clear, confident, and compelling in minutes.
