But here’s the catch: they won’t settle for mediocrity. They’re on the hunt for that one exceptional brand that stands out with a method crafted to solve their unique problem. When they find it, they will sit up and take notice. This is why a branded methodology component is so important to your business.
In this blog post, I’ll show you how to design a branded methodology that will elevate your brand by summarizing your unique, repeatable process. We’re going to identify a method that can showcase your brilliance, differentiate you from the competition, and make you memorable!
Yes! A branded methodology will do three incredible things for your business:
Simplify Your Solution. Your ideal target will quickly understand how you solve problems. Since you’ll be outlining the exact steps from point A to point B, they will not feel uncertain or confused. Instead, they will trust you sooner and this can be what makes them decide to work with you over someone else.
Simply Your Operations. Your daily business tasks become easier once you have a process in place because you now have a simple way of describing how you work and a repeatable plan that can minimize wasted time, headaches, and burnout that comes from customized approaches. You are no longer winging it and your business confidence will soar.
Simplify Your Marketing. Marketing will feel easier because you have a focused road map to get your clients from pain to solution. Brands that have a signature process often can charge more because it adds value to your package.
The BullsEye Branding Formula is my proven framework designed to help my clients hit their target market dead-on and achieve the success they deserve.
I created this framework after dealing with my own personal experience of running a “junk-drawer” business for way too long, doing way too many things for way too many audiences. Now, I‘ve helped hundreds of entrepreneurs gain clarity and define their niche direction so they become the go-to expert.
Composed of four key elements – Specialize, Specify, Stand-Out, and Solve – The BullsEye Branding Formula is a step-by-step guide to defining your niche and crafting a brand that resonates with your ideal clients.
Sure, I could have just talked about niching down like everyone else does, but I wanted to deliver even more value. I created a simple process that outlined the steps to becoming an expert, then I added a catchy name to set myself apart.
It is a unique, step-by-step process that moves your client from problem to desired transformation. It guides your clients and produces consistent results.
When creating your methodology, I recommend a process that has 3-6 steps (not too short but not overwhelmingly long). These steps are based on your knowledge, your experience, your strategies, and your expertise. The process is proven and has worked for you and for past clients.
Here are a few branded frameworks you can look at for inspiration:
These 5 steps will help you develop your own signature framework:
Braindump your process. Think about your past and current clients and list out all the steps that you take them through in your offer, program or package. Just put everything down on paper. What do you do with them in the beginning, middle, and end to move them to the desired outcome?
Define the results. What does your client get out of the process of working with you? How does their life/biz change? What does success look like to them? A proven system has to have an end result in mind that is produced consistently. If you don’t know the outcome, be sure and ask your clients.
Look for patterns. For all of your clients, what were the steps that you did on repeat? Are there any similarities and common threads? Identify these repeatable steps as they are part of the blueprint of your method.
Categorize the steps. Review your brain dump and refine the number of steps. Now group the steps into categories. Can you pick 3-5 themes that define how my brand helps people? Then list out the smaller steps under each overarching theme. You want to have around 5-10 steps…more than that is too complicated and less than that looks too easy and ineffective.
Name your process. It’s time to brand your methodology with a catchy name that will attract your customer. Think about the benefits, the transformation, the end result.
Use the framework as the foundation for your content creation from blog posts to social media to presentations.
Create a graphic around the process.
Share the graphic or your methodology on your sales page.
Add the name of your branded process in your elevator pitch or bio.
Add it to your Work With Me page on your website
Brainstorm offers and initiatives that can leverage your framework like e-books, webinars, workbooks, programs.
Record a video introducing your framework and outlining the main steps and the key outcomes to share on social media.
When you have a clear and defined process, it gives your prospects confidence that they will get the results they envision. Crafting a branded methodology not only sets your business apart but also puts your expertise and professionalism in the spotlight with a distinctive framework. This strategic approach boosts your credibility and ensures consistency, efficiency, and ultimately, success for both you and your clients.
